Tampa Bay had a share of the football spotlight in last year’s state semifinals. Seven teams made it that far in the playoffs, tying 2013 for most in the area for one season.

The sheer volume was equal to other football hotbeds such as Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Miami. Local teams were represented in just about every class. Public and private schools. Large and small student enrollments.

The end result was not kind. All seven lost in the semifinals, marking the first time the area did not have a team play in a title game in seven seasons. Still it was a memorable run. Now it is time to vote. Pick which among the seven had the most memorable run.
