This was a banner season for boys soccer in Hillsborough County, particularly at the private school level.
Jesuit went 24-3-2 and won the Class 5A state soccer title. The Tigers’ Carson Bien and Eric Sims were named the 5A state player and coach of the year, respectively. Tampa Catholic finished 23-2-2 and were the Class 3A state runnerup.
The success is evident with the representatives on the all-Hillsborough County boys soccer private school team, which was put together by the private school coaches in the county.
