Time to vote: Offensive player of the week

Here are the nominations for the football offensive player of the week. Voting lasts through Monday. 

WR Jarquez Green, Sr., Clearwater Central Catholic: One of the Marauders’ biggest playmakers, Green had 10 receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns, the last coming on a reception with eight seconds left to beat rival Clearwater 14-10. 

RB TJ Holmes, Sr., Largo: The speedy back ran for 181 yards on 16 carries and scored twice in a 20-16 win over Countryside. 

WR Michael Rodriguez, Jr., Dunedin: Had a breakthrough performance against Parrish Community, finishing with seven receptions for 120 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Falcons to a 41-0 win.  

OL Gary Shepard, Sr., Mitchell: Paved the way for the Mustangs to rack nearly 300 yards of offense in a 35-0 win over East Lake to remain unbeaten (3-0).  

QB Tre Simmons, Sr., Bloomingdale: The dual threat had his best game of the season, finishing with more than 300 yards of offense and accounting for five touchdowns in a 37-20 win over Plant City. 

QB David Wright, Sr., Tampa Bay Tech: Helped the Titans get back on track by throwing for 236 yards and accounting for five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) in a 47-6 win over East Bay.
