Keswick Christian (16-5) at Tampa Bay HEAT (17-9)

The Heat, which is ranked fifth in 2A by MaxPreps, beat the Crusaders twice during the regular season (25-16, 25-21, 21-25, 25-17 in the first meeting last month and 25-18, 25-20 earlier this month). Olivia Balogh, a senior, leads the HEAT in kills (254), digs (182) and aces (41). The go-to player for the Crusaders is Sydney Jackwin, a junior who leads the team in kills (250) and digs (140).  

Bayshore Christian (9-13) at Canterbury (11-5)

The Faith Warriors were once a consistent state title contender. They snapped a five-game losing streak by beating Brandon Academy in the District 10 semifinals to secure a playoff spot. The Crusaders posted their second straight winning season and won their first district title in more than a decade by knocking off defending region finalist Keswick Christian in the final. Bayshore Christian’s top player is senior Emma Chapman, who leads the team in digs (345), kills (85) and aces (84). For Canterbury, senior Sarah Young is tops among the team in kills (161) and sophomore Maya Bickford leads in digs (167).
