Here are the nominees for the girls swimmer of the week. Voting lasts through Thursday.

Ella Bathurst, Plant: Won region titles in the 200 IM (2:00.98) and the 100 back (55.29) and has the top seed in both events entering the Class 4A state meet. 

Summer Cardwell, Countryside: Ranks among the top two in the 200 free (1:50.78) and 100 fly (56.13) heading into the Class 3A state meet after a solid performance at regionals last week. 

Kate Petitt, Academy of the Holy Names: Won district titles in the 100 fly (58.10) and 100 breast (1:07.74) and has the top seed in both events entering the Class 2A, Region 2 meet. 

McKenna Smith, Academy at the Lakes: Won district titles in the 50 free (24.02) and 100 free (52.64) and has the top seed in both events entering the Class 1A, Region 2 meet.
