Weeki Wachee has a solid 1-2 scoring with Seth Tarbox and Jacob Kelley. Together, the senior forwards have accounted for 51 of the Hornets’ 71 goals and have helped the Hornets go 14-2 . 

The bulk of Tarbox’s scoring production has come in the past month. Of his 20 goals, 12 were scored in the past six matches. 

Two weeks ago, he delivered in meaningful moments, scoring a combined three goals and adding three assists in wins over Nature Coast and Wesley Chapel. The victory over the Sharks exacted revenge from a loss earlier this season and enabled Weeki Wachee to clinch the Gulf Coast 8 Conference title. 

Fans took notice of Tarbox’s performance. He received more more than 51 percent of the votes (505) to beat out Jesuit’s Phillip Falcon III, who had more than 40 percent (395 votes).
