Here are the nominees for the boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts through Wednesday.

G Saquan Carswell, Jr., Springstead: Came through with his best performance of the season last week, scoring 27 points and grabbing eight rebounds in a win over Central. 

G Josh Martin, Jr., Wiregrass Ranch: Scored a season-high 29 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists in a win over IMG Academy Blue.  

F/C Tim Reilly, Sr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Averaged 18 points and 16 rebounds per game in wins over Calvary Christian, Zephyrhills Christian and Northside Christian.  

G Emanuel Sharp, Jr., Bishop McLaughlin: Scored 19 points in a win over Fivay to reach the 2,000-point career milestone. 

G Ryan Weir, Sr., Jesuit: Averaged 25 points per game in three wins, including a season-high 35 against Mitchell in the regular season finale, to surpass 1,000 points in his high school career.
