Here are the nominees for the girls flag football athlete of the week. Voting lasts through Wednesday. 

QB Meghan Corkran, Sr., Clearwater: Finished with a combined 350 yards of offense and five touchdowns in wins over Seminole and East Lake this past week. 

QB/S Devyn Silvestri, Jr., Newsome: Accounted for a combined 22 touchdowns on offense and recorded a combined four interceptions on defense to lead the Wolves to a 5-0 start (outscored foes by a combined 241-6). 

QB Sydney Stout, Sr., Robinson: Threw for a combined 14 touchdowns to lead the Knights to three victories (by a combined 131-0) to start the season.

QB/S Layla West, Fr., Hillsborough: Had 210 yards on offense (145 passing, 65 rushing), scored two touchdowns and picked off two passes on defense in a win over Tampa Catholic.
