Wednesday sports schedule

What to watch

Baseball

Durant (5-2) at Leto (6-2), 7

The Falcons are looking to rebound after having their four-game win streak snapped with a loss to Bloomingdale on Tuesday. The Cougars have been in every game this season. Their two losses (Wharton and Newsome) were each decided by a run.

Softball

Strawberry Crest (6-1) at Newsome (8-0), 7

The Chargers have double digits in runs in four of their six victories. That production will be difficult to maintain against the Wolves, who are ranked ranked third in Class 7A and fifth overall in the state by MaxPreps.

Clearwater (5-3) at Seminole (6-1), 7

This is a rematch from the season opener that the Warhawks won 5-2. Since starting 1-1, Seminole has won five straight, all by three or more runs. The Tornadoes, meanwhile, have scored 16 runs in each of their last three wins.
