Here are the nominees for the softball player of the week. Voting lasts through Wednesday.

3B/2B Caitlin Blankenship, So., River Ridge: Her two-run homer in the sixth inning was the difference in a win over Mitchell. 

2B/SS Karhys Pierce, Fr., Palm Harbor University: Went a combined 8-for-10 with two triples and eight RBIs in wins over Countryside, Pinellas Park and East Lake. 

1B Jadeyn Ruszkowski, Sr., Newsome: Hit two doubles and had three RBIs in a battle of unbeatens against Sickles that kept the Wolves’ perfect record intact. 

2B/OF/SS Dom Sekelsky, Jr., Nature Coast: Ended up a combined 5-for-9 with a double, a triple, a homer and nine RBIs in wins over Gulf, Springstead and Crystal River. 

P/2B/CF Alisha Wagoner, Sr., Pinellas Park: Threw a three-hitter, allowing one unearned run while striking out 17 on the mound and going 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored at the plate in a win over Tarpon Springs.
