Here are the nominees for the girls lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts through Friday.

Cassidy Bauman, So., Newsome: Among the leaders in goals against average (4.1) and save percentage (.578) entering the week to help the Wolves secure the No. 1 seed in the Class 2A, District 11 tournament. 

Taylor Lapointe, So., Steinbrenner: Ranked second in the area in assists (34) and third in points (82) entering the week to lead the Warriors to the No. 1 see in the Class 2A, District 9 tournament.  

Chloe Norman, Jr., Land O’ Lakes: Led the area in goals with 88 entering the week and finished the season with 100. 

Avery Smith, So., Cypress Creek: Ranked second in the area in goals (71) and points (90) entering the week to help the Coyotes earn the No. 1 seed in the Class 1A, District 5 tournament.
