Here are the nominees for the girls lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts through Saturday.

Taylor Dabney, Sr., Newsome: Recorded a combined seven goals and 12 assists in wins over Bradenton Manatee and Sarasota Riverview to take the Class 2A, District 11 title. 

Gabi Dodson, Sr., Plant: Had a combined 12 saves and a 5.0 goals against average to help the Panthers beat St. Petersburg and East Lake for the Class 2A, District 10 title. 

Abby Eash, So., Steinbrenner: Posted a shutout and allowed a combined three goals to help the Warriors beat Mitchell and Wiregrass Ranch to take the Class 2A, District 9 title. 

Sophia Pyne, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Ended up with a combined six goals, four assists, three ground balls, and 22 draw controls against Freedom and Berkeley Prep during the Class 1A, District 9 tournament.
