Outlook

Former USF coach Courtney Draper took over the program last season. The Chargers only played nine matches due to COVID restrictions but still went 7-2 and reached the semifinals of the ultra-competitive Class 3A, District 6 tournament. The district did not change much with the new classifications. Still, Shorecrest can compete for a playoff berth thanks to the return of sophomores Kate Craig and Maria Happ and senior Brooke Waldmann. Those three should help offset the loss of Julia Craig, who is now playing at the University of Chicago.
