Here are the nominees for the girls cross country runner of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Tuesday. 

Anna Breede, Sr., Steinbrenner: Placed second in the large schools race at the North Port Invitational with a time of 21 minutes, 10.11 seconds. 

Sofie Dericks, Sr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Took home individual honors at the Mitchell Invitational with a time of 20 minutes, 51.60 seconds. 

Sara Ellingson, Sr., Sunlake: Finished the highest among area runners at the Savannah and David Mohney Invitational, taking eighth in 21 minutes, 21.85 seconds. 

Carlie Ortiz, So., Cypress Creek: Placed second at the Hammock Invitational with a time of 22 minutes, 12 seconds. 

Grace Vaughn, Jr., Bishop McLaughlin: Finished the highest among area individuals at the Zak Lukas Invitational, taking sixth in 21 minutes, 57.79 seconds.
