Here are the nominees for the Hernando County Football Player of the Week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

LB Zack Buzze, Sr., Central: Recorded a team-high 13 tackles in a loss to Gulf. 

LB Jordan Novomestky, Sr., Springstead: Finished with 12 tackles, three sacks and an interception in a loss to Hernando.

RB Jordan Williams, Sr., Hernando: Ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on eight carries on offense and had six tackles on defense in a win over Springstead.
