Pinellas County Football Player of the Week

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County football player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

QB Anthony Colandrea, Jr., Lakewood: Threw for 430 yards and six touchdowns in a win over Hardee.

LB MJ Harrell, Sr., Boca Ciega: Returned an interception for a touchdown in the second half that gave the Pirates the cushion they needed to knock off previously undefeated Northeast.

ATH Eric Jackson, Sr., Pinellas Park: Had 171 yards (98 rushing, 73 receiving) and scored four touchdowns (three receiving, one rushing) in a win over Hollins.   

WR/CB Michael Jelks, So., Dunedin: Had four catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Gulf. 

QB Aidan MacLean, Sr., Clearwater: Completed all six of his passes for 156 yards and five touchdowns in the first half of a win over Anclote. 

RB Sammy Miller Jr., Jr., Gibbs: Ran for 284 yards and two touchdown on 11 carries in a win over Tarpon Springs. 

DE/RB Deondre Randall, Sr., Largo: Recorded three sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered one that was returned for a touchdown on defense and scored two rushing touchdowns on offense in a win over Mitchell.
