Both teams are ranked among the top 10 in the state in the classification by MaxPreps (the Blazers are No. 10 and the Crusaders are No. 5). Sarasota Christian is making its fourth straight postseason appearance and is trying to reach the region semifinals for the first time since 2015. Keswick Christian is in the postseason for the third straight season and is trying to make the region semifinals for the first time since 2019.

The Stingrays have advanced to the state semifinals in four of their past playoff appearances.
