DT Zyon Vaughn-Nobles, So., Zephyrhills Christian

A first-year starter, Zyon Vaughn-Nobles has been impressive, particularly on defense. 

The 6-foot-3, 240 pound sophomore has wreaked havoc in opposing backfields as an interior linemen, registering 57 tackles and recording 17 sacks in seven games. 

Two weeks ago, Vaughn-Nobles had one of his best performances of the season, finishing with 15 tackles and three sacks in a win over North Florida Educational Institute. 

Fans took notice. Vaughn-Nobles received 40 percent of the votes (673) in the Pasco County football player of the week poll to beat out Sunlake’s Jackson Lipski, who had 23 percent (384).
