The Warriors, ranked fourth in the class by MaxPreps, are coming off their biggest win of the season. Down 2-0, Steinbrenner came roaring back to win the final three sets to knock off Plant in the district final. The Warriors could end up facing their district rival again in the region semifinals.

Plant is trying to reach the state semifinals for the fourth straight season and sixth time in the past seven years. The Wolves, who have won six straight, are trying to reach the region semifinals for the third time in school history.

They have a tough task on the road against the Indians, who are ranked third in the class and 13th overall in the state by MaxPreps. Venice has made the playoffs every season since 2002.
