RB Reggie Bush, Sr., Plant City

The Plant City senior shares the same name as a certain Heisman Trophy winning running back. 

Their electrifying moves on the field are similar, too. 

The Reggie Bush with the Raiders has rushed for 821 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Several of his performances have stood out, such as his 154 yards and two touchdowns against Jefferson and his 101 yards and s score against Bloomingdale. 

But nothing compares to what he did two weeks ago against Plant. 

In a pivotal Class 8A, District 10 contest, Bush ran for 265 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries in a win over Plant. 

Fans took notice. Bush received 48 percent of the votes (1,159) in the Hillsborough County football player of the week poll to beat out Berkeley Prep’s Xavier Townsend, who had 38 percent (911 votes).
