The Pinellas County Football Player of the Week

WR Tre’son Everett, Sr., Largo

At 6-foot-4, Tre’son Everett has the ideal size to be a dominant receiver. The senior is now using his height to his advantage and is having the best season of his high school career.

Whether leaping over defenders or running past them, Everett is consistently coming down with catches. He has 29 receptions for 595 and 10 touchdowns in nine games this season.

Those numbers are starting to get the attention of college coaches.

Take his performance two weeks ago against Sickles. Everett had three catches for 71 yards, two going for touchdowns. He also scored once on the ground in a 25-7 victory.

Fans took notice, too. Everett received 43 percent of the votes (1,886) in the Pinellas County football player of the week poll to beat out Boca Ciega’s Andre Hall, who had 30 percent (1,351 votes).
