Here are the nominees for the Hernando County football player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

RB Christian Cromer, So., Nature Coast: Ran for 189 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries in a win over Lakeland George Jenkins. 

QB Evan Spears, Jr., Central: Accounted for 331 yards (176 passing, 155 rushing) and threw for a touchdown in a loss to Citrus.  

RB Jordan Williams, Sr., Hernando: Ran for 76 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries on offense and had two tackles and a sack on defense in a win over Lecanto.
