The Tigers, ranked No. 2 in Class 5A, No. 3 overall in the state and No. 5 nationally by MaxPreps, have not allowed a goal this season. Four of their five victories this season have been by four or more goals. On Wednesday, Jesuit faces Plant in a battle of unbeaten teams. 

2. Osceola (5-0)

The Warriors are ranked No. 1 in both Class 5A and overall in the state and No. 3 nationally by MaxPreps. They have outscored foes by a combined 23-3 so far this season.  

3. Plant (5-0)

Up next: Tuesday at Sickles; Wednesday at Jesuit; Friday at Alonso

The Panthers are off to another solid start. They are ranked No. 2 in 7A and No. 6 overall in the state by MaxPreps. Plant has found ways to prevail in close matches during its perfect start, beating Durant 3-2 and Land O’ Lakes 1-0. 

4. Tampa Prep (3-0)

Up next: Monday at Clearwater Central Catholic; Wednesday at Wiregrass Ranch; Saturday (tournament)

The Terrapins gained some momentum with three quality wins against Calvary Christian, Shorecrest and Plant City to start the season. All three victories were by three or more goals. 

5. Wiregrass Ranch (8-1)

Up next: Monday at Cypress Creek; Wednesday vs. Tampa Prep

Since losing to Shorecrest 1-0 two weeks ago, the Bulls have won six straight, including victories against Vero Beach (2-1) and Nature Coast (4-1) at their own tournament last week.
