The Panthers started the season with quality wins over Durant, Newsome and Palm Harbor University. They are led by their offense, which has scored five five goals in each of their first three wins. 

2. Palm Harbor University (4-1)

Up next: Tuesday at Countryside; Friday vs. Clearwater

In their four wins, the Hurricanes have outscored their opponents by a combined 27-1. Their lone loss was to Plant two weeks ago. 

3. Sickles (5-1-1)

Up next: Tuesday vs. Plant; Thursday at Strawberry Crest

The Gryphons fared well playing a brutal early season schedule. Their lone was to Lakeland Christian (1-0) and they played to a scoreless tie against Tampa Catholic.  Sickles has won its last two matches by a combined 15-1. 

4. Wiregrass Ranch (5-0)

Up next: Idle

The Bulls perfect start is due in large part to stingy defense that has not allowed a goal so far this season. Twice, Wiregrass Ranch has won by a goal, beating North Port (1-0) and Tampa Catholic (1-0). 

5. Durant (3-1)

Up next: Tuesday vs. Riverview; Thursday at Spoto

The Cougars’ lone loss was by a goal (5-4) to top-ranked Plant. Their offense is averaging five goals per game during their strong start.
