Girls basketball

Cambridge Christian (8-0) at Brooks DeBartolo (6-2), 6

The Lancers, ranked 10th in Class 2A by MaxPreps, put their undefeated record on the line against the Phoenix in what will be their toughest test so far this season. Brooks DeBartolo is currently ranked No. 4 in 3A and is coming off wins against Miami and Naples Gulf Coast.  

Pasco (6-3) at Zephyrhills (7-1), 7

The Pirates, who have lost two straight, are trying to get back on track against the host Bulldogs. That could be tough considering Zephyrhills has won six straight. 

Girls soccer

Cypress Creek (6-3) at Wiregrass Ranch (7-0-1), 7:30

The host Bulls, ranked eighth in 6A by MaxPreps, had their seven-match win streak end with a 1-1 tie against River Ridge. That also was the first goal Wiregrass Ranch has allowed all season. After starting the season 3-0, the Coyotes have gone 3-3 in their last six matches and are looking to regain the consistency they had from a few weeks ago.
