Tampa Bay Tech (14-0) vs. Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (13-1), 7
The top two teams in the class square off in the 7A final at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. The Titans are in the championship game for the first time in school history. They face the two-time defending champion Raiders.
Boys basketball
Wiregrass Ranch (6-2) at Strawberry Crest (6-2), 6:30
The Bulls have won four straight, all by 20 or more points. The Chargers, meanwhile, are trying to bounce back after losing their last two.
Springstead (9-1) at Central (8-2), 7:30
This is a rematch from a 62-61 thriller the Eagles won in the final minute over their rival last month. Springstead started the season 9-0 before losing to Wildwood 53-51. The host Bears’ two losses this season have come by a combined three points, including one in overtime to Ocala Forest.
Girls basketball
Keswick Christian (7-2) at Calvary Christian (8-1), 6
The top private school matchup of the night. After starting 0-2, the Crusaders have won seven straight – six by 16 or more points. The host Warriors only loss of the season was by five points to Seffner Christian. Since then, they have won five straight. ,
Palm Harbor University (7-3) at Largo (8-3), 6:30
The Hurricanes have rebounded from a 1-3 start to win six straight. Their streak will be tested against the Packers, who have won three straight and seven of their last eight.
Bloomingdale (9-0) at Lennard (8-1), 8
The Bulls, ranked fourth in Class 6A by MaxPreps, have already survived several tough matchups, including a win over defending 7A state champion Plant. Bloomingdale faces another challenge against the Longhorns, who are coming off their first loss of the season.
Girls soccer
Palm Harbor University (7-1) at St. Petersburg (5-1-1), 8
The Hurricanes, winners of five straight, have been dominant during this streak, outscoring their opponents by a combined 35-1. It will not be as easy against the Green Devils, whose lone loss this season was by a goal.
