G Ishaan Bhadouria, Jr., Hillsborough

No player had his role expanded more this season than Ishaan Bhadoria. 

For the past two seasons, Bhadouria saw limited playing time on varsity, averaging less than two points per game. 

This season, he has turned into a go-to player as his scoring average skyrocketed. 

Just look at his performance from two weeks ago. Bhadouria averaged 30 points and six rebounds in wins over Middleton, Riverview and Sebring. 

Fans were impressed. Bhadouria received 55 percent of the votes (2,365) in the boys basketball player of the week poll to beat out Tampa Catholic’s Eddrin Bronson, who had 39 percent (1,659 votes).
