The holidays are over, but the basketball tournaments are continuing at a rapid pace. There are two quality ones on Saturday, the St. Petersburg Shootout and the Ulrich Family Classic at Wiregrass Ranch. 

Five of the six teams in the St. Petersburg Shootout are from Pinellas County. The highlight comes in the nightcap with the host Green Devils taking on Calvary Christian in a matchup of arguably the two best teams in Pinellas. That game also features a quartet of stellar guards with St. Petersburg’s Marquiris Curry and Tristan Gross going up against Calvary Christian’s Daniel MacGregor and Trevor Parks. 

The Ulrich Family Classic has teams from four different counties – Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas. Some of the top matchups include Wharton taking on Wesley Chapel and the host Bulls facing Freedom
