Hillsborough County Offensive Player of the Year Poll (Classes 8A-7A) – Jan. 7

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County football offensive player of the year in Classes 8A-7A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday.

RB Jason Albritton, Sr., Newsome:Ran for 1,405 yards and 14 touchdowns for the 8-3 Wolves this season.

RB Reggie Bush, Sr., Plant City: Rushed for 856 yards and seven touchdowns for the 6-5 Raiders this season.

QB Murdolph Jones, Jr., Armwood: Threw for 1,649 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Hawks this season.

QB Marcus Miguele, Sr., Durant: Accounted for 1,761 yards (1,087 passing, 674 rushing) and 23 touchdowns (15 passing, eight rushing) for the 8-3 Cougars.

ATH Arkese Parks, So., Wharton: Finished with eight touchdowns of 20 or more yards for the 7A region finalist Wildcats.

QB Elijah Rhoden, Sr., Alonso: Accounted for 2,298 yards (1,169 passing, 1,129 rushing) and 28 touchdowns (16 rushing, 12 passing) for the 6-4 Ravens.

RB Kirby Vorhees, Jr., Steinbrenner: Finished with 1,913 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns for the 7-4 Warriors this season.

QB Xavione Washington, Sr., Tampa Bay Tech: Accounted for 2,995 yards (2,464 passing, 526 rushing) and 32 touchdowns (24 passing, eight rushing) for the 14-1 Titans this season.
