Sunlake (15-1-1) at Wiregrass Ranch (14-4-2), 7:30

Despite winning five straight and being ranked No. 6 in Class 6A, the Seahawks enter as an underdog given their recent history against one of their biggest rivals. After all, the host Bulls are 6-0-2 in the series since 2013. 

East Lake (6-4-1) at Osceola (12-0-4), 8

The Eagles are coming off a 3-3 tie against powerhouse Jesuit. The unbeaten Warriors are ranked No. 7 in 5A and No. 20 overall in the state by MaxPreps. 

Girls basketball

Academy of the Holy Names (12-7) at Land O’ Lakes (13-2), 6:30

The Jaguars are trying to rebound after losing two straight. It will not be easy against the Gators, who have won four straight. 

Cambridge Christian (10-4) at Lakeside Christian (10-3), 6:30

The Lancers are coming off an impressive 41-38 victory over Tampa Catholic on Tuesday. After starting the season 7-0, the Lions have gone 3-3 in their last six games. 

Sunlake (8-6) at River Ridge (10-8), 7:30

After enduring a rough 1-5 stretch that started last month, the Seahawks have rebounded two of their last three games. To keep that momentum going, they will have get past the Royal Knights, who have won two straight. 

Keswick Christian (11-6) at Boca Ciega (11-4), 7:45

The Crusaders tough schedule continues with a matchup against the Pirates that comes two two days after facing Lakewood. 

Palm Harbor University (10-4) at Largo (9-6), 7:45

The Hurricanes have won nine of their last 10 games, the lone loss coming by three points to Seminole during that span. The host Packers beat Osceola this week to snap a three-game losing streak. 

Gibbs (7-5) at Northeast (11-5), 7:45

Both teams enter with impressive win streaks. The Gladiators have won six straight while the host Vikings have won seven in a row.

East Lake (8-1-3) at Osceola (10-2-1), 6

The Eagles are unbeaten since dropping their season opener to Calvary Christian in November. The Warriors have won three straight by a combined score of 15-3.

Newsome (12-4) at Bloomingdale (14-5), 8

After starting 4-4, the Wolves have won nine straight. The Bulls are trying to find more consistency after going 3-2 in their last five games. 

Blake (8-4) at Leto (14-6), 8

A matchup between two up-and-coming teams. The Yellow Jackets have won four straight, including victories over Freedom and Bloomingdale. The host Falcons, meanwhile, have won eight straight, the biggest coming against Alonso last week. 

Alonso (12-5) at Plant (15-4), 8

A rematch from a game the Ravens won 63-59 last month. If the Ravens complete the regular season sweep, they will likely clinch one of the top two spots in the Class 7A, District 6 tournament. 

Freedom (9-5) at Hillsborough (13-7), 8

The Patriots are looking to get back on track after going 2-3 in their last five games. The Terriers currently are on a nice run, winning seven straight. 

Girls basketball

Newsome (14-7) at Bloomingdale (18-3), 6:30

The Wolves are coming off a loss against undefeated Sarasota Riverview on Tuesday. The schedule does not get any easier with a matchup against the Bulls, who have won seven straight. 

Brooks DeBartolo (14-4) at Lakewood (11-6), 7

The Phoenix has fared well against Pinellas County teams, beating Clearwater twice and Boca Ciega once. The Spartans are trying to recover after going 1-2 in their last three games, including a loss to Plant this past weekend. 

East Lake (12-6) at Northeast (12-6), 7

Both teams have turned things around. The Eagles have won five of their past seven games while the Vikings have won eight of their last nine.
