Girls basketball

Hernando (13-5) at Gulf (12-6), 6

The Leopards are 1-2 in their last three games, though the two losses were by a combined three points. The host Buccaneers have won five of their last six games, the lone loss coming against River Ridge last week. 

Bell Creek Academy (16-2) at Seffner Christian (17-4), 6

The Panthers have been flying under the radar. They have won eight straight, all by 19 or more points. But this will be their biggest test of the season. The Crusaders played well this past weekend in beating Lake Gibson 62-49 and IMG Academy Blue 71-33. 

Boys soccer

Seminole (7-4-3) at Jesuit (13-2-2), 7

The Warhawks are trying to rebound after losing two straight. It will not be easy. The Tigers are ranked No. 5 in Class 5A by MaxPreps. 

Mitchell (13-4-3) at Land O’ Lakes (7-5-4), 7:30

The Mustangs, who have already clinched the West Division title in the Sunshine Athletic Conference, travel across Pasco County for a tough matchup against an improved Gators squad that is 3-0-2 in its last five matches.
