Player of the year
OH Danielle McGee, Sr., Weeki Wachee
A four-year player on varsity, Danielle McGee showed steady improvement throughout her high school career. This season was her best. The senior finished with the team lead in kills (208) and blocks (27) while also recording 84 digs and 52 service aces for the Hornets. The leadership – and versatility – she displayed helped Weeki Wachee stay at the top among the county teams and reach the playoffs in each of her four seasons.
Fan vote player of the year
OH Emma Buscemi, Sr., Nature Coast
The veteran ranked among the top five in the county in most offensive categories and led the Sharks to a 16-12 record and a berth in the Class 4A region quarterfinals. For more click here.

Noemi Rivera, Weeki Wachee
The first-year coach guided the Hornets to a 19-5 record and trip to the Class 4A region semifinals.

OH Emma Buscemi, Sr., Nature Coast: Ended up with 312 digs and 266 kills for the Sharks.
OH Kristen Pizzano, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up with 161 kills, 91 digs and 28 aces for the Hornets.
MH/OH/RS Emily Miller, So., Springstead: Finished the season with 234 digs and 166 kills for the Eagles.
RS/OH Grace Colleran, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Finished with 140 kills and 112 digs for the Hornets.
OH/DS Madalyn Cullum, Jr., Nature Coast: Ended up with 320 digs and 142 kills for the Sharks.
S/DS Kristen McElroy, Sr., Nature Coast: Recorded 616 assists and 248 digs for the Sharks.
S Allora Murray, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Directed the offense, finishing with 218 assists for the Sharks
S Isabella Nunag, So., Springstead: Recorded 424 assists and 222 digs for the Eagles this season.
