Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

F Tyreese Hill, Sr., Springstead: Recorded a team-high 18 points and four rebounds in a win over rival Hernando. 

G Tre Joyner, Jr., Central: Averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in three wins last week. 

G/F Gavin Meese, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Scored a team-high 18 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds to beat Chiefland.
