G Emma Reiser, Sr., River Ridge

Something about playing Fivay brings out the best in Emma Reiser. 

Last month, the senior scored 29 points and hit five 3-pointers, both season highs at the time, in a win over the Falcons. 

Two weeks ago, Reiser was even better in the rematch. 

She equaled the point total with another 29 and knocked down seven 3-pointers to lead the Royal Knights to a regular season series sweep. 

For the season, Reiser is averaging 10.6 points per game. 

Fans were impressed. Reiser had 70 percent of the votes (191) in the Pasco County girls basketball player of the week poll to beat out Mitchell’s Priya Jacob, who had 24 percent (67 votes).
