Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County girls soccer player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

F/MF Bella Battista, Jr., Newsome: Scored a goal each in wins over Sickles in the 7A region quarterfinals and Plant in the region semifinals. 

GK Gabby Gorman, So., Berkeley Prep: Made a combined 11 saves in the first two rounds of the playoffs and recorded a shutout against Taylor in the 3A region quarterfinals. 

GK Meghan Peak, Sr., Tampa Catholic: Made a combined 18 saves in the first two rounds of the playoffs and recorded a shutout in a win over Orlando Lake Highland Prep in the 3A region quarterfinals. 

F/MF Ava Politz, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Finished with a combined three goals and two assists in wins over Hardee and Bonita Springs in the first two rounds of the 4A playoffs. 

D Devin Prieto, Sr., Wharton: Scored the game winner on a penalty kick to beat Bloomingdale in the 6A region semifinals.
