Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball preseason hitter of the year. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

CF Shelby Allen, Sr., Durant: Finished last season hitting .540 with 14 RBIs and 25 runs scored. 

OF Emily Chiarella, Sr., Steinbrenner: Recorded a .510 average last season to go along with 19 RBIs and 32 runs scored. 

C/1B Hannah Church, Sr., Berkeley Prep: Batted .576 last season and had 12 home runs and 25 RBIs. 

OF Camryn Feast, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Hit .442 last season with five triples and 22 RBIs. 

UTIL Kathyria Garcia, Sr., Jefferson: Ended up hitting .549 last season with 17 RBIs and eight doubles.  

C/OF/INF Olivia Elliott, Sr., Cambridge Christian: Finished last season hitting .812 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs. 

SS Karley Shelton, So., Newsome: Batted .507 last season with 12 home runs and 43 RBIs. 

INF/P/C Jocelyn Wilkes, Sr., Gaither: Ended up with a .649 average last season to go along with seven home runs and 40 RBIs.
