Pasco County baseball player of the week – Feb. 21-26

Here are the nominees for the Pasco County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

OF/P Tyler Doran, Sr., Sunlake: Went a combined 5-for-7 with an RBI and five runs scored in wins over Academy at the Lakes and Bishop McLaughlin. 

IF/P Aidan Miller, Jr., Mitchell: Ended up going a combined 5-for-8 with four RBIs and three runs scored in the first three games of the season. 

C/1B/P John Perry, Sr., Anclote: Went a combined 3-for-4 with two doubles, five RBIs and five runs scored in wins over Gulf Coast HEAT and Gibbs to start the season. 

P/1B/OF Mark Santiago, So., Zephyrhills: Threw five innings, allowing two runs (one unearned) and striking out eight in a win over Lake Gibson. 

P/1B/OF Cole Syversen, Sr., Academy at the Lakes: Threw six innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits and striking out 11 in a win over Cambridge Christian.
