Girls lacrosse player of the week poll – March 7-11

Here are the nominees for the girls lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Carina Annunziata, So., Alonso: Finished with 10 goals in two games and now has more than 100 in her high school career. 

Indiah Brown, So., East Lake: Recorded 12 saves and had a 2.9 goals against average in a win over rival Palm Harbor University. 

Isabella Colon, Jr., River Ridge: Had a combined 12 goals, 10 ground balls and eight ground balls in wins over Wesley Chapel and Clearwater Central Catholic. 

Alexa Desart, Fr., Sickles: Ended up with a combined seven goals and two assists in wins over Calvary Christian and Robinson. 

Emily Giglio, Jr., St. Petersburg: Allowed a combined three goals and made six saves in wins over East Lake and Clearwater. 

Eva Risinger, Jr., Mitchell: Against Tampa Catholic, she finished with eight draw controls and three goals – the last marking the 100th of her high school career.
