Pinellas County softball player of the week – March 7-12

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

UTIL Emily Boylan, So., East Lake: Finished 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Mitchell. 

3B/2B/C Addison Futch, So., Osceola: Led the Warriors by a going a combined 3-for-5 with two doubles and six RBIs in wins over Countryside and Sarasota Riverview.  

SS Peyton Hoffman, Sr., Seminole: Went a combined 5-for-6 with two RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Largo and Dunedin. 

P/2B Kaylyn Mitchum, So., Countryside: Threw 7 ⅓ scoreless innings, allowing two runs and striking out nine in a win over St. Petersburg. 

OF Ariana Silva, So., Palm Harbor University: Ended up going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a win over MItchell. 

P/1B Kayley Williams, Sr., Clearwater: Threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out eight, on the mound and hit a solo homer at the plate in a 10-3 win over previously undefeated St. Petersburg.
