Season stats: .318 average, two RBIs

The lowdown: Three weeks ago, Patterson ended up going 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Alonso. Fans took notice. Patterson had 40 percent of the votes (1,516) in the Pinellas County softball player of the week poll to beat out Palm Harbor University’s Karhys Pierce, who had 19 percent (719 votes).
