Pinellas County softball player of the week poll – March 14-19

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Libby Cenedella, So., Shorecrest: Ended up perfect at the plate, going a combined 5-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored in two games. .

Alayah Pedersen, Jr., Canterbury: A veteran from the Crusaders state title run last season, Pedersen turned in one of her best hitting performances so far this year, going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs in a win over Eau Gallie.

Emma Ream, Sr., East Lake: The Eagles hurler had one of the best performances of her career, finishing with a one-hit shutout and recording 21 strikeouts in a win over Eau Gallie.

Morgen Talley, So. Calvary Christian: Threw a two-hitter, allowing two unearned runs and finished with 14 strikeouts on the mound and hit two homers and finished with four RBIs and two runs scored at the plate in a win over Palmetto at the Bay Made Fastpitch Invitational.

Miranda Westrich, Sr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Led the Marauders offense by going 2-for-3 in a win over rival St. Petersburg Catholic.
