Hillsborough County baseball player of the week poll – March 21-26

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

C/CF/SS Christian Clarke, Fr., Carrollwood Day: Ended up going a combined 7-for-11 with two doubles, a homer and five RBIs in three games. 

P Evan Dempsey, Jr., Newsome: Threw five scoreless, no-hit innings with eight strikeouts in a win over Sumner and had a combined four hits and three runs scored in three games. 

P/3B Owen McElfatrick, Sr., Berkeley Prep: Drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Jesuit and keep the Buccaneers’ perfect season intact. 

P/OF Jack Owens, Sr., Bloomingdale: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and finishing with 10 strikeouts in a win over Riverview and went a combined 5-for-10 with two doubles, two homers and five RBIs in three games. 

P Luke Richardson, Jr., Strawberry Crest: Threw a two-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a win over Freedom. 

P/1B Robert Satin, Jr., Plant: Went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a win over Jefferson and threw six scoreless, allowing two hits and striking out 10, in a win over Robinson.
