Hillsborough County softball player of the week poll – March 28-April 2

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.

P Riley Collins, Sr., Wharton: Threw a one-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over Armwood. 

OF Ashley Mantei, Sr., Steinbrenner: Had two hits, including a two-run homer, to lead the Warriors in a 2-1 victory over Palm Harbor University. 

C Jolie Perillo, Fr., Alonso: Won the offensive MVP after hitting .667 in three games in the blue bracket at the Kissimmee Klassic. 

2B/OF Kaylee Peaver, Jr., Lennard: Ended up going 3-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in a win over Sumner. 

UTIL Lizbeth Rivera, So., Leto: Went a combined 9-for-14 with two doubles, six runs scored and three RBIs in three games. 

P/3B/SS Elana Roush, So., East Bay: Allowed just one earned run on three hits while striking out a combined 29 in wins over Spoto and Riverview. 

P/UTIL Kendall Wilson, Sr., Brandon: Recorded a combined 16 strikeouts on the mound and went a combined 6-for-9 with nine runs scored and three RBIs in three games.
