Boys lacrosse player of the week poll – April 4-9

Here are the nominees for the boys lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Dominic Goodarzi, Sr., Newsome: Made four saves and recorded a shutout in a victory over East Lake in the season finale. 

Finn Hudson, Fr., Mitchell: Recorded a combined 24 ground balls and won 41 faceoffs in three games. 

Connor Hull, Jr., Wesley Chapel: Had five goals, five ground balls and an assist in a win over Pasco. 

Xzavier Mead, Sr., Northeast: Ended up with a combined 13 ground balls and five goals in wins over St. Petersburg and Tampa Prep to close out the regular season. 

Alex Nixon, So., Land O’ Lakes: Ended up with a combined 17 goals and eight assists in wins over Pasco, Foundation Academy, St. Petersburg Catholic and Boca Ciega to close out the regular season. 

Garrett Scott, So., Sickles: Had a combined eight goals and five assists against Mitchell and Newsome to close out the regular season. Scott has 49 goals and 24 assists for the season. 

Levi Wade, So., Cypress Creek: Finished with five ground balls, four goals and an assist in a win over rival Wesley Chapel.
