Here are the nominees for the Hernando County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.

P/OF Wren Anholt, Jr., Nature Coast: Threw a four-hitter, allowing one earned run and striking out three on the mound and went 2-for-3 at the plate in a win over Citrus. 

OF Emma Dedmon, Sr., Hernando Christian: Went a combined 5-for-8 with two RBIs and two runs scored in wins over All Saints’ Academy and City of Life Christian. 

2B/UTIL Liberty Savarese, So., Springstead: Finished a combined 6-for-10 with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Nature Coast, Weeki Wachee and Indian Rocks Christian. 

3B Mika Vaughan, So., Hernando: Was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Crystal River.
