Here are the nominees for the Pasco County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

UTIL Jovanni Castellano, So., Bishop McLaughlin: Went a combined 5-for-9 with seven runs scored in a pair of victories over St. Francis and a win over Pasco. 

P Darren Dubiel, Sr., Fivay: Tossed a two-hitter, allowing one unearned run while striking out nine in a win over Springstead. 

P Timothy Dunn, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Threw a no-hit shutout (two walks away from a perfect game) with 10 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored at the plate in a win over Nature Coast. 

3B/SS/P Ethan Petry, Sr., Cypress Creek: Threw a one-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored in a win over Wesley Chapel. 

P/INF Anthony Ramos, Fr., Anclote: Ended up with a three-hit shutout on the mound and had a two-run double at the plate in a win over Hudson.
