Season stats: 4-1 record, 0.51 ERA, 53 strikeouts

The lowdown: Last month, Graden threw six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and recording 11 strikeouts in a win over Tarpon Springs. Fans paid attention. Jackson had 52 percent of the votes (360) in the Pinellas County baseball player of the week poll to beat out Northside Christian’s Wil Gregory, who had 34 percent (231 votes).
