Hillsborough County baseball player of the week poll – April 18-23

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until Saturday at noon. 

2B/SS/P Adrian Arroyo, Sr., Hillsborough: Went a combined 8-for-10 with a double, four runs scored and an RBI in wins over Freedom, Chamberlain and Armwood. 

OF/P Eric Duran Padua, Jr., Alonso: Combined with Landon Nunez on a no-hitter (each a hit batter away from a perfect game) and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored at the plate in a win over King. 

P/CF Tyler Fritsch, Jr., Bell Creek Academy: Tossed a perfect game with five strikeouts and went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI in a win over Cambridge Christian. 

P/1B Adan Longoria, Jr., Plant City: Threw a combined 10 scoreless innings, allowing five hits and string out 13 in wins over Lennard and Durant. 

UTIL Ethan McSpadden, Sr., Newsome: Went a combined 6-for-8 with a triple, five RBIs and two runs scored in wins over Bloomingdale and East Bay.
