Here are the nominees for the Pasco County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until noon on Saturday. 

UTIL Shelby Cappiello, Jr., Gulf: Had a combined four hits and six RBIs in a pair of wins over Anclote. 

P Ava Daly, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Threw a combined nine innings, allowing two unearned runs on 10 hits while striking out 11 in wins over Cypress Creek, Seffner Christian and Strawberry Crest. 

1B/P Taryn Newton, Fr., River Ridge: Went a combined 5-for-7 with a double, a homer, five RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Wesley Chapel and Anclote. 

UTIL Brenna Rush, Fr., Mitchell: Had a double, a homer and a combined five RBIs in three games. 

1B/OF Erin Vandiver, Jr., Sunlake: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs in a win over Cypress Creek.
