Position: Quarterback/athlete

Season stats: 1,046 rushing, 257 passing, 22offensive touchdowns (16 rushing, six passing)

The lowdown: Last month, King scored all five touchdowns (three rushing, two passing) in a 32-7 win over Brandon Academy. Fans were impressed. King had 50 percent of the votes (1,570) in the flag football player of the week poll to beat out Wharton’s Kassidy Russell, who had 27 percent (854).
